By submitting User Content, you grant Coutiv a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to store, display, and reproduce your User Content solely to operate and improve the Service.
You are solely responsible for your User Content. You represent that your content does not violate any third-party rights and complies with these Terms and applicable law.
Group messages and comments you post are visible to other group members. Do not share sensitive personal information in group chats or product comments.
The Coutiv catalog contains product information sourced from publicly available third-party brand and retailer websites. We make reasonable efforts to keep this information accurate, but we do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or availability of any product information.
Coutiv is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or in a formal partnership with any brands displayed in the catalog unless explicitly stated. Brand names, logos, and trademarks remain the property of their respective owners.
When you tap "Buy," you leave Coutiv and are subject to the third-party website's own terms of service and privacy policy. Coutiv is not responsible for any transaction, dispute, or experience on third-party websites.
The Service allows you to create or join groups, invite other users, add products, post comments, exchange messages, and vote on items. By using these features, you agree that you are responsible for the content you share within groups and will not use groups or messaging features to spam, harass, or solicit other users.
The Service uses your in-app behavior to build a personal taste profile and deliver personalized product recommendations. Over time, we intend to introduce AI-powered features that use this taste profile to provide styling suggestions and outfit recommendations. You may contact hq@coutiv.com to request deletion of your taste profile data at any time.
Coutiv participates in affiliate programs with brands and retailers. When you click a product link and make a purchase on a third-party website, Coutiv may receive a commission from the retailer at no additional cost to you. Affiliate relationships do not influence the order or selection of products in the catalog.
The Coutiv name, logo, application design, and original platform content are owned by Coutiv Inc. and protected under applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from Coutiv's original content without our written permission.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, COUTIV DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, COUTIV AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED CAD $100.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Coutiv Inc. and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and reasonable legal fees arising out of or related to your use of the Service, your User Content, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms will be subject to good-faith negotiation for 30 days before either party initiates formal proceedings. If unresolved, disputes will be submitted to binding arbitration in Toronto, Ontario, under the rules of the ADR Institute of Canada.
We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or by a prominent in-app notice at least 7 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
You may stop using the Service and request account deletion at any time by contacting hq@coutiv.com. We may suspend or terminate your access at any time if we believe you have violated these Terms or applicable law. Sections 4, 9, 10, 11, 12, and 13 survive termination.
